Senior Systems Engineer

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, reliability, and engineering of systems supporting N-DEx data integration. The position manages computer systems, servers, virtualization, software upgrades, automated integration tools, web services, SFTP connections, ETL products, and vendor integration solutions.

This is not a traditional infrastructure-only Systems Engineer position. The SOW requires a candidate with a substantial combination of systems engineering + software development + data integration + web services + cloud + SFTP/security expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, and ensure reliable operation of:

• Manage virtual servers.
• Develop and integrate automation processes.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues.
• Document problems and resolutions.
• Prioritize technical issues and assess operational impact.
• Develop, maintain, and use automated tools supporting data-integration services.
• Support and maintain web services and SFTP connections.
• Develop and use ETL products and automated data-integration tools.
• Recommend and implement data-integration standardization.
• Maintain and upgrade existing integrations.
• Develop new vendor integration solutions.

The Senior Systems Engineer is a Key Personnel position, :

• Active Top Secret clearance required
