Front End Developer

i3 is looking for a Senior Developer (Front End Engineer) to join our team. This person would be responsible for leading a team of senior developers, determining and architecting solutions, and working directly with the customer as their subject matter expert/advisor on what solutions would solve their complex business problems. This role would serve as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives. The role would manage a portfolio of products in an Agile manner and providing technical guidance to both the team and the customer on complex problems or business processes. i3 is looking to hire individuals ready to take on a large modernization project which includes developing a highly scalable, modular and services base architecture.

Responsibilities:

• 5+ years software engineering experience with expertise in technologies like JavaScript, Angular, ReactJS, and Redux
• Excellent understanding of Typescript 2.6 or greater.
• Excellent understanding of advanced JavaScript patterns and development.
• Excellent knowledge of software engineering best practices
• Excellent understanding of Open Source package managers (NPM, Yarn) and mono-repo concepts (Lerna / Bit)
• Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with Technical Lead / Architects / Program Management
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment
• Experience with Test-driven development and UI component testing using Enzyme / Jest
• Experience using Azure DevOps for implementing CI/CD integrations
• Experience with large team collaboration, pull-requests, branching policies, code-reviewers, and Semantic Versioning.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques
• Experience with object-oriented design and building backend applications with REST API services using Node.js
• Experience designing and developing service-based architectures and/or microservices
• Experience setting up, configuring and maintaining your own dev/build environment in Azure

Skills Required:

• Working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Docker
• Working knowledge of designing data persistence and caching concepts.
• Working knowledge of with SharePoint 2013 / 2016 / 2019 / O365
• Working knowledge of designing SharePoint Apps using the SharePoint SPFx Framework, PNPJS
